What no one told you about midlife

And what actually works now

Your energy shifts. Your sleep stops being reliable. Your body responds in ways it never used to — and the first instinct is to wonder what you are doing wrong.

You are not doing anything wrong. You are in a different phase of life, and it asks for a different approach.

What is the Midlife Movement Method

The Midlife Movement Method is Chrissy Sundt's approach to training and living in a perimenopausal body. It rests on five pillars: mindful movement, nourishment, sleep, rest and illumination, and connection. Rather than a harder version of what worked at thirty, it asks what this body responds to now, and builds the week around that.

Chrissy has taught barre and Pilates for over twenty-five years and is navigating perimenopause herself, so the method is what she has had to relearn about her own body rather than theory. The programmes sit inside it: Awaken Barre for movement, Love Your Core for the deep core, and The Core Nutrition Reset for what is on the plate.

Common questions

What is the Midlife Movement Method?

Five pillars: mindful movement, nourishment, sleep, rest and illumination, and connection. It is how Chrissy Sundt trains and lives in a perimenopausal body, and how the programmes are built. The question it starts from is not what worked at thirty, but what this body responds to now.

What is in the free guide?

Twenty pages on the seven changes women name most in perimenopause. It is not a plan to follow, it is a way of understanding what your body is doing, so the choices you make next actually fit this phase.

Is the guide really free?

Yes. Give me your first name and email and it arrives in your inbox, with a download link on the next page in case it does not. You can unsubscribe any time.

Who is it for?

Women in their forties and fifties who are functioning but no longer feeling like themselves. Periods are often still regular, so most readers have not connected what they are noticing to perimenopause at all.

Is the guide medical advice?

No. It is educational, and it is not medical advice. Anything that worries you belongs with your GP, and the guide is written to sit alongside that conversation rather than replace it.

A note from Chrissy

I have been there too — and what I have come to understand, personally and professionally, is that this phase is not decline, it is a transition. It's like being in your teens again but essentially in reverse.

This is why I developed The Midlife Movement Method™. This guide is here to help you understand what is happening, and more importantly, what to do about it.
