Customer Terms & Conditions

Last updated 28 October 2026

1. Who we are

These Terms govern purchases of programmes and services branded The Midlife Movement Method™ (MMM) from Silver Linings Retreats Ltd, a UK limited company incorporated in England and Wales, company number 10205595, registered office 85 Great Portland Street, London, England ('we', 'us'). Contact: hello@themidlifemovementmethod.com. Circle is a third-party platform through which our programmes and community are delivered. Payment is taken on our own website checkout. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, your seller is Silver Linings Retreats Ltd.

2. Scope and contract formation

These Terms apply to MMM digital movement programmes, educational materials, live cohort services and memberships purchased through the MMM website. The product page and checkout confirmation specify the product, included components, price, currency, taxes, delivery date and access duration; those product-specific details form part of your contract. A contract is formed when we accept your order and issue confirmation. We may reject orders before acceptance and refund any payment collected.

Where Circle requires separate platform or Community Terms, those govern your use of Circle in addition to these Terms. They do not remove your mandatory rights against us as seller. In the event of conflict concerning your purchase from us, applicable consumer law and these Terms govern our obligations to you.

3. Access and lifetime purchases

We no longer sell programmes as 'lifetime access'. Customers who bought on 'lifetime access' wording before this change keep access to that programme for as long as we run it. For new purchases, one payment gives you ongoing access to the purchased recorded materials for as long as we operate that programme ('One payment, and the programme is yours to come back to as often as you like'). This is not the customer's lifetime or a promise that any third-party platform will operate forever. This wording must be reviewed against checkout claims and applicable consumer law. We will not retrospectively reduce access rights already promised to existing purchasers.

We may make reasonable technical changes, migrate delivery platforms or replace materially equivalent content. If we permanently withdraw a paid programme, we will assess and provide any remedy required by applicable law, taking into account the representations made at purchase. A platform move does not itself extinguish contractual access rights.

The six-week flagship programme (including Early Access) has a separate access policy. Recorded library access, scheduled live sessions, cohort support and community access may have different durations; each must be clearly disclosed before purchase. No entitlement to ongoing live coaching arises from lifetime access to recordings.

4. Programme participation and delivery

You need compatible internet access, a suitable device and any equipment identified on the product page. Programme schedules and session availability may change reasonably where needed; we will communicate material changes. Live sessions may be rescheduled or replaced by an appropriate alternative, subject to your statutory rights.

You are responsible for deciding whether to participate safely. Read the separate Health & Participation Agreement before taking part; you accept it separately at checkout. We do not provide emergency medical services.

5. Price, taxes and payment

Prices are displayed at checkout, normally in USD unless stated otherwise. The checkout will disclose the total payable and any applicable taxes before payment. Payment is processed through Stripe on our website checkout. Payment processing arrangements do not change the identity of the seller.

Where you buy a bundle of programmes, or the remaining programmes of a bundle at a reduced price, any refund is calculated against the price you actually paid, not the separate prices of the programmes in it.

For an instalment plan, the total programme price, number and timing of payments, and consequences of missed payments must be shown before purchase. Instalments paying a fixed purchase price are not a cancellable monthly membership merely because payments recur. We may contact you about failed payments and suspend access proportionately where lawful, without affecting mandatory rights. Any financing or credit arrangement requires separate legal review.

6. Subscriptions (if offered)

Membership subscriptions will state their recurring price, billing frequency, renewal terms, minimum commitment (if any), and clear cancellation method before checkout. Unless a disclosed minimum term applies, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period, subject to mandatory local law. We will provide renewal notices, reminders and cancellation mechanisms where required in the customer's jurisdiction. Our continuation memberships (a $29.99/month founding rate after Early Access, from February 2027, and $49.99/month after the six-week programme, from March 2027; prices to be confirmed) are optional. Each is offered towards the end of the programme (week 5 for Early Access), through its own checkout, and needs your separate agreement. Buying a programme never starts a subscription automatically.

7. Statutory cancellation rights and refunds

UK and EU consumers may have statutory cancellation rights for distance contracts. Different rules apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium and to services. We will provide required pre-contract information and any applicable model cancellation instructions; where immediate digital supply is requested, we will obtain the legally required express consent and acknowledgement and confirm them on a durable medium. We will not rely on a generic 'no refunds' statement to override statutory rights.

For services begun during the statutory cancellation period, any lawful proportionate payment and any loss of cancellation rights depend on the applicable legal conditions. For defective or misdescribed digital content or services, mandatory remedies remain available. We do not offer a discretionary money-back guarantee on our recorded programmes. You get the whole programme as soon as you join, so refunds are not available once your access has begun, except where the law gives you a right to one. Early Access (January 2027 cohort): a full refund on request until onboarding begins on 4 January 2027; after that, your statutory rights apply. If anything goes wrong with your access, contact hello@themidlifemovementmethod.com and we will get back to you promptly and help you sort it out.

To request cancellation or a refund, contact hello@themidlifemovementmethod.com with your order details. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Promotions and coupons

Discount codes may be limited by dates, eligibility, programme and number of uses, as disclosed with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be exchanged for cash or retrospectively applied. Promotional restrictions do not affect statutory rights.

9. Intellectual property and licence

MMM programmes, videos, text, graphics, recordings, downloadable resources and branding are owned by or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use purchased materials for your own non-commercial wellbeing education during your contractual access period. You must not copy, record, share login details, redistribute, publicly perform, sell or upload materials without written permission, except where law permits.

10. Community participation

Access to Circle spaces is subject to our Community Guidelines and applicable Circle member terms. We may moderate content and impose proportionate restrictions for safety, harassment, misuse or material breaches, with notice where appropriate. Any decision affecting paid access will respect contractual and statutory rights. Community access may end separately from recorded-course access where disclosed at purchase.

11. Disclaimers and liability

MMM provides general fitness and wellbeing education, not diagnosis or treatment. We use reasonable care and skill in delivering our services. We do not guarantee specific strength, weight, symptom, longevity or other outcomes.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional limits on liability must be fair, transparent and reviewed for each applicable market.

12. Changes, complaints and governing law

We may update these Terms for future purchases. Material changes affecting existing contracts require a valid legal basis and appropriate notice; we will not unilaterally remove accrued consumer rights. Complaints: hello@themidlifemovementmethod.com.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but consumers retain mandatory protections of the country or state in which they habitually reside where applicable. Courts and dispute-resolution provisions must not deprive consumers of mandatory jurisdiction rights.
