Health & Participation Agreement

1. Purpose and scope
The Midlife Movement Method™ provides general movement, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing education for adults, including women in perimenopause and menopause. It does not diagnose, treat or cure illness, replace medical assessment, or provide individually prescribed medical care.
2. Individual suitability
Exercise has benefits and risks. Choose sessions appropriate to your current abilities, experience and circumstances. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing exercise if you have relevant medical concerns, symptoms, a recent injury, pregnancy/postpartum considerations, or have been advised to restrict activity. Menopause alone does not automatically require medical clearance.
3. Safe participation
Prepare a clear, stable exercise area; use appropriate equipment and footwear; follow technique guidance and modifications; progress gradually; rest when needed. Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical advice if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness or other concerning symptoms. For urgent symptoms such as chest pain, collapse or severe breathing difficulty, seek emergency care. Do not continue simply to complete a session.
4. Online format and limits
Recorded sessions and group instruction cannot provide continuous individual supervision or assess every participant's medical history, technique or surroundings. You are responsible for adjusting participation to your abilities, and should ask for professional advice when unsure. We remain responsible for exercising reasonable care and skill in providing our programmes.
5. Nutrition education
Recipes, meal plans and nutritional discussions are general educational resources, not personalised clinical dietetic treatment or a substitute for advice about allergies, medical conditions, medication interactions or eating disorders. Check ingredients and suitability for your own circumstances. Guest experts speak within their stated professional scope; individual clinical relationships arise only where expressly arranged.
6. Results and evidence
Individual outcomes vary. MMM does not guarantee weight loss, menopause symptom relief, bone-density improvements, prevention of disease, or longer life. Programme claims should be supported by appropriate evidence and reviewed before publication.
7. Participation acknowledgement — checkout/onboarding
I understand that MMM offers general fitness and wellbeing education rather than individual medical care; that physical activity involves risk; that I should exercise within my capabilities, use modifications and seek appropriate medical advice where relevant; and that I can stop participation at any time. This acknowledgement does not waive any legal rights or release MMM from liability it cannot lawfully exclude.
